The Making of Poetry

The Making of Poetry written by Adam Nicolson, to be published by William Collins on the 30th May 2019, describes the intense and extraordinarily productive year, from 1797-8, that Wordsworth, his sister Dorothy and his brother-poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge spent together in the Quantock Hills in Somerset.
The Making of Poetry includes woodcuts made from the fallen timber in the park at Alfoxden where the Wordsworths lived.
